The Team
The Global Employee Operations team is part of our Workplace Operations and Supply Chain department, dedicated to provide employees an experience that drives innovation, collaboration, productivity, and transparency through our services and applications. The team manages more than 320,000 service requests, providing platinum support to nearly 21,000 employees, clients, and visitors in more than 170 offices around the world. In addition, we handle approximately 400+ software titles and monitor our entire corporate network that consists of 28,000 PCs, 50,000 screen displays, and 120,000 network connections.
We are committed to delivering the highest standards in customer service to all guests, clients, and employees. We are highly detail-focused and constantly looking for ways that we can improve our offices and enhance our customer experience. We collaborate with a multitude of internal departments on a global level to deliver fast and effective solutions.
What’s in it for you?
This is an exciting internship for students seeking a collaborative internship. You will participate in a comprehensive 3-week training course focused on the technical aspects of the role, learning who the Bloomberg employee is, and best-in-class customer service. Successful interns will have the opportunity to be offered a permanent full time role in the Employee Operations team at the end of the Internship.
You’ll need to have:
- A keen interest in technology and/or the operations space, specifically a service-oriented organisation
- Curiosity to identify, research, and resolve hardware & software troubleshooting and installs, mobile device troubleshooting, Windows and OS Support
- Strong customer service skills including telephone etiquette and a professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
You will need to be:
- Currently enrolled in a university with a graduation date between May 2024 and July 2025
- Available to work for the whole duration of 10 weeks from 24th June 2024
We’d love to see:
- Work experience in a client facing role
- Fluency in German, Italian, Spanish, French and/or Portuguese
